Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to understand the effect of the story map strategy on improving short story writing skills among middle school students in Iraq.

To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher followed the experimental approach to suit the nature of the study and its objectives.

Writing the short story among the average third grade students in Iraq, the sample of the study was chosen by the mean method of the first grade )students in the Al-Yasser school (05) with ( 50students in each group of( the experimental group and the group Officer, after conducting statistical analysis shows a positive impact of the strategic map of the story in improving the skills of writing a short story at the middle school students in Iraq.
