The study aimed to identify the reality of using modern technologies in teaching the Islamic education in the intermediate governmental schools from the teachers' point of view and identifying the degree of the difficulties facing the teachers when using modern technologies and the degree of modern technologies production and development, as well as identifying the differences of statistical significance among teachers' sample responses about the reality of using modern technologies in teaching Islamic education which is attributed to the variables of the study (gender and scientific qualification).

The study used the descriptive method which is based on the analytical study.

The population of the study consisted from the teachers of Islamic education at intermediate grade at Fallujah education section Anbar province – Iraq.

The study was conducted in the academic year (2018 - 2019).

For achieving the objectives of the study a questionnaire was used as a tool for data collection after verifying its sincerely and stability.

A sample of 29 teachers was selected randomly.

For treating the data statistically the statistical package for social science (SPSS) program was used through some statistical methods from which (The arithmetic means, standard deviations, percentages and the single variance analysis test (Anova) and T.

test).

From the most important results of the study: The reality of using modern technologies in teaching Islamic education is achieved by a median of 2.52 and with a high estimated degree.

Also the degree of production and development of modern technologies among the teachers is achieved by a median of 2.89 and with a high estimated degree.

There are statistically significant differences at a significant level 0.05 among the teachers' responses about the reality of using modern technologies in teaching Islamic education attributed to the variable of gender in favor of males and there are no statistically significant differences at a significant level 0.05 among the teachers responses about the reality of using modern technologies in teaching Islamic education attributed to the scientific qualification.

On the light of these results the study recommended several recommendations: The necessity of using the modern technical media in teaching.
