Abstract EN

The importance of the research was manifested in measuring some of the personality traits of handball players through the use of some personal measures through which the level of those traits they have is acted upon.

The Municipalities Club due to the varying degree of interest in this aspect in the training programs.

The objectives of the research were as follows: 1- Determining grades and standard levels for some personal traits of handball players for the Municipal Club for the 2019-2020 sports season.

2- Measuring the level of some personal traits among the handball players of Al-Baladiyat Club for the 2018-2019 sports season.

The most important conclusions: 1- Most of the sample answers in the three scales were centered at the (medium) level, while a small number of the sample reached the rest of the levels.

2- The sample was not able to express and express in a real and explicit way the nature of the level of those traits they have, as the answers were spontaneous and somewhat random, which was reflected on the nature of the results.

As for the importance of the recommendations, it was 1- Working on defining the training programs set by the clubs for athletes and focusing on all aspects without limiting the programs to physical, skill and planning preparation.

There are psychological, mental and banking preparations, those general factors that complement the sports personality and show their clear mark in competitions and tests.
