Muslims in Mecca and Medina knew many types of perfumes in the Umayyad period and traded and used them in various aspects of their religious and social lives, as they used them to perfume Al-Majd Al-Haram and Al-Masjd Al-Nabawai.

But what are the perfumes? What are their types? What are their sources? What are their importance in Islam? What is the attitude of Islam towards them? The research reached a set of conclusions and recommendations.
