Abstract EN

Commercial banks are the mainstay of the national economy through their role in financing various economic projects.

They are the main engine of the economy, and commercial banks seek to follow a financial policy commensurate with the economic and political situation that the country is going through to achieve economic stability.

The objectives of the research are embodied in the study and analysis of the most important financial indicators banking.

As well as determining the appropriate model through the use of longitudinal data regression models, and the research demonstrated the existence of an inverse relationship between (liquidity) as an independent variable and (investment) as a dependent variable, and this reflects the negative impact of this variable on investments in commercial banks and their conformity with the economic theory.
