The Negative Effect of Bribery on the contemporary Social Status: A Contrastive Study in Islamic Jurisprudence.

The study discusses the concept of bribe in society and its effect on social status the paper consists of an introduction and the four sections.

The first section deals with the concept of bribe linguistically and idiomatically under the umbrella of achieving paperwork in government offices by doing certain works in day to day activities and compelling people to glorify and gratify bribe for the sake of going benefit.

The second section discuss the disadvantages of bribe in holy Quran and Suna supported be evidence.

The third section elaborate the impact of bribe on social status.

The fourth section refers to attitude of Imami clerics toward bribe the harm it causes to individual.

Finally, the study ends up with conclusion encapsulating the main point and references
