Abstract EN

There is no doubt that the new media casts a shred of Arab and Iraqi reality after 2003, and specifically after the Arab Spring, which extended the media with wide areas of criticism that included the press, television and other media outlets in order to criticize the reality without prosecution, political or social prosecution.The satirical programs are a new uncommon color in the Arab world and Iraq in particular, and the current research seeks to investigate the impact of these programs on forming a set of social and political values among the youth category following up on such programs.

The current research seeks to identify youth exposure to satirical programs and its relationship to social and political values .Accordingly, the researcher used the descriptive approach, as I followed all his steps in our current research in order to reach the following results: 1-Society is concerned with its various demographic variables by following satirical political programs.

2-The satirical political programs have enabled members of society to recognize the bad reality in which members of society live and try to develop it 3-The satirical political programs enabled the youth in the recent elections to go down to the ground and cast their votes towards the appropriate candidate4-The satirical programs reflected on a set of political values (equality, freedom, democracy) among the youth 5-It also reflected on the commitment to a set of social values, such as justice and tolerance
