Abstract EN

The study dealt with the role of the family of the Sahl family in the Abbasid state, which is a Persian family, whose members called the Baramka and declared their Islam in the succession of Harun Al-Rashid (170-193H/781-847M).

Jaafar Al-baramki was able to get into the caliphate management by Al-fadel Bin Sahl.

So, their real role was started.

They succeeded in helping Alma'mun secure the throne of the caliphate, surpassing his brother.

In order to make their good come true, they had an active role in the events that followed the death of the caliph Harun Al- Rashid and they had painted the features of the period which is extending from the year (193H- 236H/781-847M).
