Abstract EN

The research dealt with a spatial analysis of the index of the standard of living according to the neighborhoods of the city of Heet by focusing on the basic indicators of living (education, health, infrastructure, housing, the perimeter of the dwelling, and the economic situation of the family).

The lowest percentage of deprivation in the field of education was about (18.2% ) of the total number of families surveyed.

As for the general standard of living index, it reached (27.9% ) of all families in which the Military District has the highest percentage of deprivation at (40.5% ), while the lowest percentage of deprivation was in the neighborhood.

Jerusalem (19.3% ), and this difference is due to many reasons, including the quality of educational, health and infrastructure services that family members enjoy in the same neighborhood, and that the house and its surroundings have a great impact in determining the nature of deprivation, As well as the economic level of the family, which plays an effective role in determining the deprivation rate.

Finally, the decent standard of living was measured, and the results showed that its value amounted to (0.709) for the total city.

As for the neighborhoods, the highest value was in the Jerusalem neighborhood at about (0.807) and the lowest in the Military Quarter by about (0.595).

Then the research reached a set of proposals based on the results of search.
