Abstract EN

This study aimed to investigate the attitudes of open education students towards using virtual classes in the acquisition of effective teaching skills among students of practical education in the Higher Diploma program.

The study sample included 120 students enrolled in Jordan's open education system during the 2019/2020 academic year.

And to measure the attitudes towards the use of virtual classes, a scale was built, and its validity and reliability was verified.

The results of the study showed that the attitudes of open education students towards using virtual classes in acquiring effective teaching skills came at a high rate (85.42%), and the fields were related in descending order: the quality of the programs used (90.0%), dialogue and discussion (87.50), clarity of the training (85.50%), Providing feedback (84.17%), task followup (83.17), and digital evaluation (82.33%).

It also revealed that there is no difference in students' attitudes toward the use of virtual classes based on their field of specialization (scientific/literary), and no difference in attitudes toward virtual classes between students working in the field of education and those who are not working in the field of education.
