تعد المملكة العربية السعودية من اكبر الدول العربية احتياطياً نفطياً واكثرها انتاجآ ،وبالتالي فهي تعتمد على قطاع النفط بشكل شبه كامل في تمويل ميزانيتها، لذا فأن سلعة النفط هي سلعة ناضبه وتشكل عائق اقتصادي كبير امام المملكة العربية السعودية بعد نضوب النفط.
لذا فقد كان هدف البحث هو التعرف على الامكانات المتاحة لقطاع النفط وكذلك تحديد بعض التحديات التي تواجه هذا القطاع ،لذا تحققت الفرضية التي نصت الى ان المملكة العربية السعودية تمتلك احتياطياً نفطياً كبير وطاقة انتاجية هائلة مما جعلها تتحكم بالسوق النفطية ضمن منظمة اوبك, كما يوصي الباحث بضرورة التنويع في مصادر الدخل وعدم الاعتماد على سلعة واحدة (النفط ).
Abstract EN
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is one of the largest Arab countries in terms of the oil reserves and production as well, then it is highly rely on oil in financing its public budget.
Therefore, the oil as a depleted commodity represent a big economic obstacle in the country after depleting oil.
However, this paper aims to find out the possible potentials of oil and determine some challenges that could face the oil sector.
The research hypothesis has proved that KSA own a huge oil reserve and production capacities which enabled the country to control the oil market, particularly for OPEC.
The study recommends to diversify the national income in order to reduce the dependence on oil.
