English Abstract

Tourism is blue gold, and it is known as a witness to a significant surge and development in this world, because this sector contains tremendous riches that really affect the economies of countries receiving tourists, and it is considered one of the most important sources of income in the national economy of many, As well as many effects at the micro and macro levels, and since the essence of the economic problem in the first place is how to optimize and rational use of the available capabilities and resources, and surely the misuse of these capabilities results in unemployment, at a time when it is not The unemployment rate represents a major developmental obstacle in many countries of the world and has become a reason for threatening the stability of many systems and governments in light of the increasing rates of population growth in these countries.

Because tourism is mainly related to the environment, attention and focus started on the principle of sustainability in tourism, where the new concept of sustainable tourism is no longer confined to an economic perspective only, Rather, there has been a response to the requirements of sustainable development and its implications for the natural and human environment, including its protection of the social and cultural environment, including it From protecting the social and cultural environment and caring for the rights of future generations, through the growth of the tourism sector and the sustainability and increase of its benefits and effects on many phenomena, especially unemployment, It can be said that it is time to embrace the thought of sustainability and its consideration, So it can be said its time to embrace the principles of sustainable development in the tourism field in Iraq.
