The Kingdom of Ebla is one of the most important kingdoms of the ancient Near East discovered in the Levant, which dates back to the middle of the third millennium BC.
The texts, written in cuneiform script, showed the role played in the political, economic and social aspects.
The largest part of the texts of the economic Ebla, which dealt with agriculture, industry and trade, and the value of the industry emerged as one of the cornerstones on which the economy was adopted, as the Kingdom was manufacturing some raw materials that have or imported to various things for daily uses and surplus to the rest Kingdoms in that period, and among the many industries that are famous for is the industry of metals, including copper and tin and precious metals gold and silver, which imported from neighboring areas in large quantities recycled to different tools after smelting The research will cover the sources of the raw materials for these metals, most of which were nonexistent.
They were imported from Egypt and the country of Anatolia, then the process of smelting these metals and mixing them with percentages that were known to them and then their uses after their formation to tools such as daggers, bracelets, statues and other uses.
Buying and selling as a cash, jewelery industry, and then exporting these materials to other countries.
