The research centers specialized in the field of dialogue and strategic studies have sought to shed light on the important role in which they are active in the field of supporting counter-terrorism policies that were adopted by the Iraqi National Security Council after the events of 2014, and the adoption of this strategy in the year 2015, in light of the circumstances that Iraq is going through The requirements of the stage and the internal and external policy orientations of the region, and you have to support the advancement and enhance empowerment and provide the security side with deterrent strategies and plans and protective measures to preserve Iraq alone and protect its people and independence, and prevent the return of terrorist thought in all its forms, forms and categories.

On the basic basis on which these strategies are based, in a way that guarantees the main goals and objectives in prediction, qualitative anticipation, strategic selection, and intensification of efforts aimed at combating terrorism, starting from following and uncovering its strings, following its roots, to combating it, drying its sources, and confronting it.

And combat it by researchers and specialists through workshops and the establishment of international and local scientific academic conferences in the context of Iraq's National Initiative for these policies, which sought to be more accommodating and responsive to the requirements of setting the stage in Mo Hand and combat terrorism, it has identified this strategy to address the basics of terrorism and ways of confrontation and determine the causes leading to it after a military defeat and the declaration of the Victory Day in 10/12/2017.
