he current research aims to identify the effect of realistic psychological counseling in reducing the feeling of tension among middle school students.

To achieve the goal of the research, the researcher built a scale to recognize the feeling of tension consisting of (40) items, and after making sure that the psychometric characteristics were available in the scale, such as honesty and consistency, they were applied to a sample of (80) male and female students from middle schools, who were chosen by the random stratified method.

Collecting the forms and processing their data statistically, the researcher reached the following results: 1-There are statistically significant differences in favor of the experimental group.2-There are no statistically significant differences between the average ranks of degrees (males and females) on the scale.
