The research paper is concerned with Avicenna's theory of 'flying man'.

This theory is one of Avicenna's greatest highly imaginative tremendously innovative and utterly original proofs whereby he evidenced the existence of the soul directly and intuitively; humans can overlook everything but their egos.

This theory will be dealt with in terms of two sections; the first will show Avicenna's concept of 'soul' its essence and its nature; whereas the second will present his theory 'flying man' whereby he presents his views about the soul its existence as well as its relation with the body.
