The theater relied on new formulas, including the poor theater because of its features and characteristics that appeared on international theaters and what they added to live experiences in the theater.

In light of the above, the researcher raises the following question: What are the features of the poor theater in the performances of the Fine Arts Institute for Boys theater in Nineveh? Hence the importance of research, as the poor theater is considered a theatrical experience that affected the world theater with theoretical and applied output.

As for the need for research, it is concentrated in that it benefits students of fine arts colleges and institutes, scholars and researchers, and the first chapter contained the temporal boundaries of research which are (2006-2011) and the spatial that included The presentations presented at the theater of the Institute of Fine Arts for Boys / Nineveh, as for the objective limit, the researcher dealt with the features of the poor theater, and the second chapter came with two studies, the first included the most important characteristics of the poor theater.

From ten plays presented at the institute, and analyzing the sample that was chosen intentionally so that the researcher could see it when presented, and in the fourth chapter came the research method which is descriptive (analytical) in addition to the researcher's reliance on the indicators that resulted from the theoretical framework as a tool for analysis
