This study aims to uncover expressive and performative mediations in the compositions of the Iraqi and Turkish al-Qanun players.

Its theoretical framework contained two topics, the first is the history of the Qanun, its importance and capabilities, and the second is the Iraqi and Turkish style of playing it, and it studied four samples from the whole community for study, chosen by the stratified random method (Trill_ Slide_Retterand) at rates of 75% _ 100% .
