Since the beginning of the twentieth century, Islamic cities have been subjected to a lot of misinformation, abuse and fraud by many orientalists, And that, through their research and writing, thy tried to prove the lack of Muslim's contribution to building cities and their lack of knowledge in urban and metropolis life in general.

They are just nomadic tribes, accustomed to transportation and instability, and the cities that were constructed in the Islamic ages were primarily military cities and were an extension of the Byzantine, Roman and Persian cities.

And that the Islamic cities did not Know a method for urban planning.

They portrayed the Islamic city as one of the cities that had risen without prior planning making it among the random or spontaneous cities.

Therefore, the main motive for preparing this research was an attempt to establish the primacy and uniqueness of Muslims in building their cities.

The study aims to monitor the statements of orientalists about the Islamic city and try to respond to it by analyzing and highlighting the role of Muslim Arin planning the construction of Arab Islamic cities
