Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the attitudes of the political party activists towards the security apparatuses' handling of the protests in the Jordanian society.

To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was developed as a main tool for collecting data.

The study was conducted by a sample of (600) active party members who were selected in the sample method by the members present and participating in the activities of the movement during the period of this study.

The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical methods, oneway ANOVAs, and T-test for independent samples.

The study reached the following results: 1.The attitudes of the political party activists towards the treatment of the security apparatuses with the demanding protests in the Jordanian society were positive and high.

2.There are statistically significant differences in the attitudes of the political party activists towards the treatment of the security apparatuses with the demanding protests in the Jordanian society due to the variables of (gender, age, educational level, place of residence, attitudes of the ideological party).

3.There are no statistically significant differences in the attitudes of the political party activists towards the treatment of the security apparatuses with the demanding protests in the Jordanian society due to the variable status of the parties.

The study recommended a number of recommendations, the most important of which are: the necessity of developing the awareness of party activists about the role of the public security apparatus "permanently and continuously to counter any attempts to tamper with Jordan's security and stability from any side, whether internal or external.
