Investment in renewable energy is an important necessity, not only at the local level but also at the regional and international levels.

Therefore, many countries have sought to invest in this vital sector.

Some countries have enacted laws on renewable energies in this field, as well as general investment laws, and have developed policies, regulations and strategies that govern the work of these projects and provided the necessary funding to encourage investment in them.

Some of the obstacles impede investment in these projects, so the countries that support these projects sought to dissolve them, and this is what is working in the countries of the European Union and some Arab countries such as Egypt, Jordan and Algeria.

In addition, there are reasons why countries should contribute to investing in these projects.

Therefore, we will try to study this issue through a statement of the concept and conditions of investment in it and its role in protecting the environment and achieving sustainable development, as well as determine the legal mechanisms for investment in renewable energy, and research sources of funding and ways to encourage this type of investment.
