The research dealt with the impact of the second Gulf War in 1991 and the third Gulf War in 2003 on the course of Turkish-Iranian relations, as these two wars had important implications on the nature of relations between the two countries, especially on the security side, as Turkey and Iran worked to strengthen their relations.

In the security field, despite the fluctuation of their relations between improvement and tension in the political field, and cooperation and competition in their economic side, after these wars contributed to an increase in the activity of the opposition movements in them, so both countries tried to work together, to confront that threat that threatened the unity of their territories, as he reviewed Researching the reasons and motives that led to the conclusion of more security agreements between Turkey and Iran.

The research concluded that the events in the Middle East region, represented by the second and third Gulf wars, have greatly affected the nature of Turkish-Iranian relations, as they worked to strengthen them on the security side, in order to confront armed opposition movements in both countries.
