Abstract EN

This research examines The Right of victims of human rights violations to be assisted.

We have identified all international and national legal texts which determine helping victims.

We have used descriptive and analytical approaches to describe existing texts and analyze legal materials to find Variety ways to assist victim.

We have reached to several conclusions including: States' failure to comply with international and national human rights law and lack of interest in assisting victims of violations also there's no legal articles about this right, and that the article on compensation in the anti-terrorism law in the province of Kurdistan is a legal precedent.

We suggested that the right to assistance be incorporated into human rights and annexed to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and that a legal article be added to existing Iraqi laws.
