This research has treatment a very important problem and is concurrence in both public budget deficits and trade deficits this problem emerged as Iraqi since the 1891s because of the Iraq war, which resulted, collection, structural imbalances for economy Search assumes Iraqi relationship between public budget deficits and trade deficits cannot be selected.

search also aims to caveat the phenomenon of twin deficit in general the most important reasons for this deficit in addition to analyze this phenomenon in the Iraqi economy and measure its impact based on quantitative methodology through practical side using a methodology (causality Engle-Granger) stretched the limits of Research of time between (1891-8119) research also reached several conclusions and recommendations of the most important ones.1- There are many reasons that led to the emergence of the twin deficit in Iraq comes on top of which Iraq fought wars which touch the major joints of the Iraqi economy.2- Iraq depends directly on oil revenues to finance the general budget by the trade balance depends directly on oil exports by another because it depends on the existence public budget deficits and trade deficits on oil sector.3- prove the hypothesis logic through the applied side which no causal relationship between public budget deficit and trade deficit.
