Pollution is a major environmental problem that we live in in the twenty-first century AD, and the truth is that it suddenly gained the attention of specialists since the mid-twentieth century, although it has been accompanying humans since it appeared on the surface of this planet.

But it did not reach the danger level until after the Second World War, when the fields of modern industrialization began to accelerate tremendously and increased their liquid, gas and solid industrial projectiles, in addition to the increase in the population.

Its dangers have appeared in a tangible way, unprecedented in human history, and accordingly pollution has become the product of modern industry, rather it is the problem of the age in which we live, which has become troublesome for officials and researchers to develop radical solutions and governing controls, Therefore, this research came to provide a simplified explanation of the problem of air pollution in the city center of Hit and the source of its generation, as well as the discrepancy in the distribution of gaseous pollutants between the field monitoring areas distributed in the city of Hit with an analysis of the causes of this discrepancy.

We have adopted the inductive method and field work through on-site observations and transforming them into tables that we found necessary for research.

The research problem came to answer the question: Does the air in the city center of Hit suffer from the problem of gas pollution? The hypothesis came: The air in the city center does not suffer from gaseous pollution, and the most prominent thing we have reached is most of the gaseous pollutants whose levels are within the permissible limits, but their levels of concentration vary from one region to another and from time to time, as they increase in the day and decrease at night due to the stopping of most activities City.

In light of this, the most concentrated gases were Co and Co 2 with a concentration of P.

P 550 in the industrial district during the day, and Co gas with a concentration of P.

P 2 in the teachers' neighborhood during the day.
