The research focuses on the geomorphological analysis of the Tigris Valley between the Samra region and the Tikrit Bridge, as the region suffers from a diversity in its geomorphological units and development in most of its units.

Therefore, the research came to identify active geomorphological areas with the ability to change and develop over time, while giving studied scenarios for high water levels and the areas they cover, in order to reach dangerous areas and areas that are not dangerous to human use.

And then to identify the available capabilities to provide treatment methods for areas of risk, by strengthening the weak areas of the earth dam, cladding the banks, and other treatments.
