The research aims to demonstrate how the digital map is used for free and comprehensive access to information, and to clarify the advantages of a digital map.

with an explanation of the legal, regulatory and political frameworks for the validity of the digital map at the regional and national levels, highlighting the legislation of the digital map to drive the growth of the information and communication technology sector and explaining the resources and investments for sustainable development in the field of information technology.

with a focus on the importance of digital maps for comprehensive and free access to information from all sectors of society and the possibility of explaining the capabilities of local and national to the digital map in all conceded parties to promote sustainable development and explaining the mechanisms and initiatives of the digital map in sustainable development in educational institutions with an explanation of the applications of information and communication technology in sustainable development with a destination.

It is indispensable for the full and effective participation in the digital map by all stakeholders in developing new applications for information and communication technology.

we find in Iraq a weakness of this awareness among the competent authorities, by drawing and producing digital maps and realizing their strategic value.2.

Establishing a culture of score and not exchanging maps of a strategic dimension, especially via the internet.3.

Organizing instructional courses on methods of exchanging, securing and destroying maps, especially for employees of sovereign authorities and workers in sensitive civilian units form the border demarcation department, infrastructure institutions, educational institutions and communications.
