Abstract EN

The current research aims to recognize the positive thinking and its relationship to the future anxiety in general, according to the gender variable (male-female) and stage (second-fourth) among the students of the College of Education for Humanities.

Where the researcher prepared a scale of positive thinking and future anxiety, were applied to the basic research sample that was randomly chosen from the College of Education for Humanities, it reached (200) male and female students distributed in (8) departments.

And after processing the data statistically.

The researcher reached the following results: The College of Education for Humanities students are characterized by a (high) degree of positive thinking.

There are no differences between The College of Education for Humanities students in the degree of positive thinking according to the gender variable (male and female).

There are statistically significant differences between the average performance of the second stage and the average performance of the fourth stage on the scale of positive thinking in favor of the fourth stage.

The College of Education for Humanities students distinguished with a (high) degree of future anxiety.

There are statistically significant differences between the average male performance and the average female performance on the scale of future anxiety in favor of males.

There are statistically significant differences between the average performance of the second stage and the average performance of the fourth stage on the scale of future anxiety in favor of the second stage.

There is a strong inverse relationship between positive thinking and future anxiety among the students of the College of Education for Humanities.
