The research deals with the patterns of the self and their manifestations in the book of Imru' Al-Qais, and the research highlights the embodiment of his relationship to his psychological and social condition, and the researcher has adopted the descriptive and analytical method in this study, as the study revealed several cases of the poet's self, between a jubilant and sad and troubled love, and the relationship of the poetic self to the other.

The researcher divided this research into a number of investigations, through which the study reached several results that were presented in the conclusion of the research.
