The study aims to discuss Jordanian diplomacy in the face of US President Donald Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and move the US embassy to it in order to liquidate the Palestinian issue, in favor of Israeli plans.

The issue was addressed in terms of analyzing the content of the decision, its motives, objectives and negative repercussions on the state of global security and stability on the one hand, and Jordanian diplomacy in facing the decision in terms of the foundations that it was based on, the challenges it faced and the margins of its movement at all levels, and the extent of its effectiveness and success in addressing the American decision by else.

In spite of all the difficult challenges facing Jordan, especially the economic ones that were formed by the abandonment of its allies from the Arab Gulf countries, it was the most present and distinctive in confronting the American decision, through adopting a wise and balanced diplomatic approach based on movement calculated awareness of the steps, at all Arab, Islamic and international levels, which led to the creation of an international position supportive of the Jordanian position rejecting the resolution
