Abstract EN

The research focused on the nature of Islamic economics as it is one of the provisions and features of Islamic Sharia, and that it is an economic system based on a set of fixed Islamic economic principles that are used as the basis and starting point for Islamic economic theory.

It is a system that is illuminated by the light of revelation (the Qur'an and Sunnah), and also highlighting the importance of this system.

It also deals with the role of this system in economic and social development and how it achieves economic development and social well-being of society, with two examples from our Islamic history of the success of this system related to Islamic law.

These two examples are in the era of Caliph Othman bin Affan and in the era of Caliph Omar bin Abdul Aziz, may Allah be pleased with them, mentioned the basics of the Islamic approach to development, how it was based on the principles of succession and subjugation, and how these two terms had an impact on the human being and the way of dealing and interacting with his species and with resources and wealth.
