This research is a comparative jurisprudential study of the opinions of one of the prominent figures of Hanafi jurisprudence: Muhammad ibn Shuja' al-Thalji al-Baghdadi (181-266 AH).
On issues related to the rulings on funerals, fasting, and pilgrimages, and the most prominent results of which were: His nickname Al-Talji is related to his grandfather, not Al-Balkhi.
And it turned out that he was a jurist of his scientific standing, as it was said about him: “The jurist of the people of Iraq in his time, and the one who preceded in jurisprudence, hadith and reading the Qur'an with piety and worship.
” Some scholars reviled him, and he was accused of E'atezal, and perhaps this was at the beginning of his life.
The research proved the breadth of his understanding, his knowledge and his ability to give preference, so he contradicted the imams of his doctrine in issues.
