Abstract EN

This study aimed at exposing the critical approach according to ibn Babshath in his book (introduction to the fundamentals of syntax) as well as to disclose the cognitive tools that he used in the process of criticism through his usage of hearing transmitted from Arab speakers and the use of the mental evidence that mainly represented by measurement which is distinctive with syntactic and how he employed his linguistic and cognitive skills in the science of syntactic and was not biased towards a particular part although he belongs to the visual school, he was not mostly concerned with anything but the evidence which he accepts for himself and his Arabic language, this is the sober scientific approach that trusted scholars adopt.
