Since 2003AD, more than 20 million Iraqi people have gathered together with several millions Amongthe foreign guests coming from (60) foreign countries to participate in the commemorationof the martyrdom of Imam Hussein in the Battle of Taf in the year 61 AH, and this gatheringformed an influential social, ethical and humanitarian phenomenon that left positive dimensionsworthy of monitoring, study and research, and pausing after it had sorted out wonderfulcases and positive dimensions that would It constitutes a strong impetus for the advancement ofour society to the ranks of developed societies, the significant development of the numbers offoreign visitors opens the door wide for developing future plans to receive double numbers inthe coming years and the establishment of giant service, tourism and development projects thatwill provide huge hard currencies, employ manpower and develop the country if it is best usedAs these visits, whether from inside or outside the country, are an important source of nationalincome, as they contribute to obtaining hard currencies.

It may also push religious tourism towardsachieving more developmental gains for Iraq and stimulate the various economic sectorsof transportation, agriculture and industry, and add a double demand for various commodities.

Therefore, new tourism service units such as hotels, markets, and agricultural production unitsin the fields of food and industry should be established, thus adding an injection cycle.
