Abstract EN

The Soiltexture triangle is an equilateral triangle, each side divided into ten equal sections based on percentages.

The percentages were represented on the Soiltexture triangle, so four types of soils appeared, concerning the first depth, which is the horizon (A).

We notice that the segments of the study area were divided into four classes, as segments (1, 2, 3, 8) were within the class of clay soil, while segment number (6) was within the sandy muddy soils, as for the segments number (5, 7, 11), were within the class of sandy soil mixture.

The remaining segments were the class of sand soil, which are all of segments number (4, 9, 10, 12, and 13).

The soil in the horizon (B) was classified into two types, the first category included (12) segments represented by segments number (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 13) under the class of clay soils.

As for the segment (12), it was the only one under the sand soil class.

The horizon (C) was similar to the horizon (A), as the study area segments were divided into four classes, as the first category included clay soils with segments number (1, 2, 3, and 8), and the sandy muddy soil included segment (6), along with the sandy mixture soil that included the segments number (5, 7, and 11), while the last class, which is the sandy soil, it included each of the segments number (4, 9, 10, 12, and 13).
