Abstract EN

The study aimed to know the effect of social factors on reproductive health in the Al Kamilin administrative unit.

The study followed the descriptive and analytical approach.

Data were collected from primary sources such as field observations and questionnaire, in addition to secondary sources.

A random sample of 181 women was taken.

To analyze the data, the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) program was used.

The study found several results, the most important of which are: the availability of health care services at a rate of 89.6% in the Al Kamilin administrative unit, the small number of obstetricians and gynecologists in the study area, as they amounted to 9.4% , social factors affect reproductive health in the study area 81.2% of pregnant women are exposed to psychological stress, a high mortality rate Infants in the study area, where the mortality rate was 38.2% .

We find that 86.8% of women in the study area use family planning methods.

The study recommended rehabilitating health and service facilities in the study area, encouraging the follow-up of pregnant women during pregnancy and postpartum for the doctor, providing an obstetrician and gynecologist in the study area.
