University Corporation of institutions working to change the behavior of students and their ideas and at the same time, and the longer they meet the educational needs and is keen to deliver all that is new in the lives of students from the scientific, social and cultural terms and are capable of socializing and raising awareness among students, which helps them to take responsibility placed on their shoulders and at the same time meet their aspirations for the future and the current research aims to identify: 1.

The level of irrational thoughts among students of the College of Qalam.2.

The level of irrational thoughts among college students of the university Qalam in light of the gender variable (male – female).

The current research is determined for both sexes (male - female) of the University College of the Qalam for morning study and for the Department of (Quranic Sciences - Engineering) for the academic year 2019-2020.

Statistical methods were used to extract the results: 1- The final test for one sample to measure irrational thoughts, as well as finding the differences between the arithmetic mean of the scale and its hypothetical mean.2- The T-test for two independent samples to find the differences between males and females, according to the variable of the section (scientific - huma).

The current research has reached the following results: 1.

The results of the current research confirmed that students of the University College of Qalam have irrational thoughts.

The results of the current research confirmed that males suffer from the presence of irrational thoughts more than females.

The researcher came up with a number of recommendations and proposals: 1.

The researcher recommends conducting similar research to the current research of other colleges to find out irrational ideas.2.

Attention to the development of the student's personality in all its aspects, to be a balanced personality capable of facing life and adapting to it3.

Instructing and educating the college students, and emphasizing rational ideas by spreading cultural awareness.4.

Conducting a study to find out the relationship of irrational thoughts with other variables such as (parental treatment, self-affirmation, mental health, depression, self-concept, academic achievement, .
