Abstract EN

The focus of the philosophy of religion is criticism, and it has spread as a constructive culture for the analysis of some religious concepts and issues in the intellectual reality of societies, picking individuals out of the intellectual stagnation and closed-mindedness, and distinguishing the superficial in them from the essential; the benefits of this criticism are to clean the religion of what is attached to it which is not of religion, to enhance long-sightedness and rational efforts in dealing with others' views as not to blindly accept their ideas, concepts, inherited and historical issues and all the relationships that bind individuals in one's world and society, and to develop a moderate understanding that is more in line with the requirements of the age in terms of proposing alternatives.

The focus on the role of the philosophy of religion in spreading the culture of constructive criticism in the Arab world has emerged in literature, publications, websites, even on social media as a state and fruit of positive reading, as one of the components of culture at the level of the individual and society, and as a result of the systematic critical thinking of the men of modern and contemporary Islamic thought which brought out the philosopher or the thinker from repeating the sayings of the ancients to creativity.

So, the researcher extrapolated these researches and studies and their spread out there on the map of the Arab world in modest efforts after he showed the essence of the philosophy of religion, its emergence, its history, and the most famous of those who adopted it.
