Abstract EN

This study, entitled " Deletion and estimation of the past verb in the book of Al-waqf and Al-ibtida'a by Al-Qastalani", deals with one of the well-known phenomena in the study of Arabic grammar that has been a subject of interest to many scholars.

This is the phenomenon of deletion and estimation, which is one of the characteristics that makes the language of the Qur'an unique.

So, it has received a great attention from scientists and researchers in the field of linguistics.

The research is divided into four sections.

The first: deletion and estimation of the past verb.

The second: deletion of the past verb or the adverb.

The third: deletion of the conditional answer sentence having a past verb.

The fourth: deletion of the past verb or the debutant.

Finally, the conclusion comes with a summary of the most important results of the study.
