Abstract EN

This study aimed at recognizing the level of respiratory and cardio fitness of female swimming student, at Yarmouk University.

The study was conducted on a sample of (20) female students who were chosen intentionally from a swimming course for the academic year 2016/2017; in order to achieve the study purposes, the research used the descriptive method.

Some variables are related to respiratory and cardio.

The study findings showed that the values of variables related to respiratory and cardio were within the normal level, also there was a middle level of respiratory and cardio fitness which appeared through the (400m) free swimming time.

The researcher, recommended paying a large attention in studying the variables related to respiratory and cardio systems and their competency during and after swimming learning and training.
