Abstract EN

This study aimed mainly to identify the extent of application of the principles of corporate governance in Jordanian manufacturing companies.

The study utilized the descriptive analysis approach using Questionnaire survey as a tool for data collection.

A total of 63 questionnaires were distributed to all listed industrial companies and 45 were retrieved and used for statistical analysis.

The study main results indicates that Jordanian industrial listed companies apply the principles of governance in a high level, where the highest application mean was for the principles of the board of directors (4.23 out of 5), followed by the principles of shareholders rights (4.12), while the mean for the principlesrelated to stakeholders role and rights was 3,97.

In light of the results, recommendations were presented in the study.
