Plurals in the Arabic language are divided into two main types: plural and broken plural.

Broken plural has twenty-seven forms, and these forms are also divided into two divisions; the first one has four forms and the second has twenty-three.

The meaning of these forms depends on its structure.

Linguists and morphologists see that plurals are different because of three reasons; different languages, in indication of plural on the few and the many, or different meanings, and the last reason is what we want to talk about.

The Holy Quran distinguishes between plurals, for instance, it uses firstly (the dead(almawta)) to the people who surely died for (17) times.

Then, it uses (the dead(al'amwat)) as an adjective to the persons whose souls are dead.

Lastly, it uses (the dead(almayitin)) to those who do not die yet.

This research is divided into an introduction and four sections; the first one is entitled as the difference between the few and the many, the second one as the difference between the plurals and the plural collection, the third one is the difference between the collective gender name and the plural collective, and the fourth one is the difference between the collective noun and the plural that is followed by the conclusion which contains the main results.
