This study aims at reviewing the critical works of the novelist Prof.

Ibrahim Khalil using the ‘Metacriticism’ approach.

Prof.

Khalil’s effort in the field of scientific studies is a proof of his scientific research achievements in addition to his following up to the recent novels written in both Arabic and foreign languages.

Therefore, this study revisits his critical view in both aspects; namely, the theoretical aspect of novels introduced by Khalil, and the empirical aspect which proves the abundance of his studies in both Arabic and non-Arabic novels.
