Abstract EN

This study discusses references of religious stories in modern Arabic poetry through poetic forms, which represent modern Arabic poetry, in general.

The study of references is important to fathom the text and explore its invisible realms, which cannot be identified unless related references are known.

The study focused on the three heavenly books as fundamental references to functionalize religious stories or narrations in modern poetry.

These references were independently appeared once in Arabic poetry and correlated the other time.

Each form of this appearance had its own feature and effect in poetic text technically and in terms of content, which would have given a character of differentiation and conflict among multiple poetic functionalization of one religious story.

This practice had acquired the modern Arabic poetic experiment particular moral and esthetic richness, especially in light of subjective capabilities that these references enjoy and expressive and technical abilities as well as distinctive holiness and reliability.
