Abstract EN

This study aimed at shedding the light on the injuries of Jujitsu players in Jordan, where they occur and the reasons for these injuries.

The descriptive method was used, the reason for that is of how well it suits this study.

The population study consisted of (262) players, the sample of the study consisted of (136) players which presented (52.3%) of the study population.

After analyzing the data, the results were that the most common injuries of Jujitsu players in Jordan are sprains, muscle bruises and cramps.

The most common places that injuries accure are the elbow and the wrist.

Also the study found that the most important reasons of injuries were the misbehaving of athletes and not observing the individual differences.

According to rank, the most common injuries accure in colored belt holders.

And according to the training age the most injuries accured to the new participants (from 6 months to less than 3 years).

Also according to weight, most injuries happen to those with the higher weight.
