Arabic Abstract
ستحاول هذه الدراسة تسليط الضوء على مفهوم الهوية في المجتمعات الغربية و الشرقية في روايتي : مؤنس الرزاز أحياء في البحر الميت ( 1982 ) و ألدوس هكسلي عالم جديد ( شجاع ) ( 1931 ).
تعرض هذا الدراسة آراء المؤلفين تجاه البرامج السياسية و الاستراتيجيات التي تسهم في تشكيل الهوية الوطنية.
يعتمد تعريف الهوية الوطنية على متالين أساسيين الأول هو الهوية السياسية حيث تستند الهوية الى سيادة الدولة القومية و سلطتها و هيمنتها و الثاني هو الهوية العرقية حيث تقوم على تأكيد الوحدة الوطنية و الجوانب الثقافية و التعلق الفردي بالمجتمع.
تستخدم الدراسة طريقة نوعية استكشافية من أجل تقديم إطار مفاهيمي واضح لمصطلحي الهوية السياسية و الهوية العرقية.
يُظهر التحليل مؤشرات مهمة على الاستراتيجيات السياسية لتشكيل دولهم تحت السيطرة و الالتزام الكاملين.
يلفت الاستنتاج انتباه القراء إلى تحول الهوية الحديثة من الهوية العرقية و الثقافية إلى هوية سياسية.
يتكون البحث من ثلاثة فصول.
يتألف الفصل الأول من مقدمة و خلفية الدراسة و بيان المشكلة و الأهداف و أسئلة البحث.
كما يستعرض الأدبيات ذات الصلة بالدراسة و يعرض الإطار المفاهيمي و المنهجية.
و يتم استكشاف و تحليل الروايات موضوعيا وفقا للإطار المفاهيمي.
سينقسم التحليل الى فصلين : كل فصل يعالج رواية واحدة على حدة.
و النتائج ستعرض في الفصل الأخير.
English Abstract
This study is set to explore the theme of identity, its formation and conflicting.
The study targets two main concepts; ethnic identity and political identity, by scoping two novelists comparatively, the first is Jordanian Munis Arazaz wrote Alive In The Dead Sea and the second is English Aldus Huxley wrote Brave New World.
An exploratory method is carried out by implementing the postcolonial theory and conceptualizing the two main concepts of political identity and ethnic identity.
The analysis shows the protagonists suffer and homesick during their journeys in order to assert their own identities.
The novels exhibit a leading figure of comparing the two novels.
Other main characters are also struggling their life in order to assert their identity.
The analysis shadows the results of political oppression on their identity as it explicates the problematics of identity formation and transformation by the authorities.
The conclusion exhibits the national identity crisis and extends more to the bigger scope of confirmation of political influence power on shaping and forming the identity.
