Abstract EN

Nationality is a legal, spiritual and political link between the individual and the state, which includes the individual's loyalty to the state of his nationality, and the state is free to regulate the matters of its nationality.

The issue of acquiring nationality in each of them, and in addition to this, we are faced with multiple nationality, and the individual's contribution to political life, and his exercise of his basic rights and freedoms depend on the individual's enjoyment of the nationality of the state in whose territory he exercises these rights, and since a multi-national holds the nationality of more than one country, his enjoyment of some of his political rights Such as the right to run for office and assume public office and sovereign positions raises several problems that may affect the level of those rights he enjoys compared to a citizen of a single nationality.
