Abstract EN

The study aimed at identifying the impact of using added weights on developing technical level for Hand Stand skill on floor exercise for female students at the Faculty of Sports Sciences in Mutah University.

The researcher used experimental method with a unilateral design, by using pre and post measurements.

The study sample consisted of (10) female students, selected intentionally from the faculty of sports sciences at Mutah University.

The suggested training program was implemented using added weights on the study sample for (10) weeks, with (3) training units each week.

The researcher implemented physical and skill tests to collect the study sample.

The study results showed that there are statistically significant differences at the level of statistical significance (0.05≤α) between pre and post measurements in the level of skilled performance for hands and for the selected group, trained by using added weights and in favor of post measurement.

The researcher recommended the adoption of the suggested training program using added weights for developing the technical level for hand stand skill.
