The religious thought of the old Maghreb societies is manifested through the old classical texts in their distorted forms and which we are used to taking as truths during our research work and which we take, as postulates in their own right.

, in order to understand the religious conceptions of the latter, but if by analyzing certain data, we will observe and like other Mediterranean civilizations, the Maghrebians have devoted an intense cult to sacred places and which dates back to the dawn of civilizations.

This religious form is found among the Latins under the religious designation of (Genius Loci), manifesting itself a priori, through its natural elements, constituting their landscape and which, over time, this religious manifestation was perpetuated until that it takes the form of places of worship.
