Abstract EN

The study aims to reveal the relationship of attachment patterns and emotional intelligence with the quality of the marital relationship among a sample of husbands in Ghardaia City, where an intentional sample of 132 husbands and wives was derived.

Using both the descriptive approach and codified measures of variables, and the spss program, the hypotheses were answered as follows: There were no statistically significant differences in both attachment patterns, emotional intelligence, and the type of marital relationship between husbands by gender (female and male), by age (less than 34 years and over 35 years), and by educational level (less than university level and university level) There is no statistically significant relationship between attachment patterns, emotional intelligence, and the quality of the marital relationship.

The results were discussed in light of previous studies and the reality of the sample.
